Applying for status of residence is the most important first procedure for studying in Japan. Please check this article and try to enter accurate information into SpeedVisa, to ensure that you get the Certificate of Eligibility. All necessary information can be entered and uploaded on your smartphone or PC.

The color of the check mark will be changed into green when you enter all necessary information of each section.

Upload Certificates
Whenever you finish to enter all necessary information of each section, the color of the check mark next to the headline of each section will be changed into green.
Save the information often!
Tap the [Save] button (light blue button) on the right side of the bottom of the screen frequently to save the information you have entered.
Also, tap the [Back] button (white button) on the left side of the bottom of the screen to return to the screen of each section list.
Click the OK button to complete the application
When you finish entering the information and all the input items have changed to check marks, you will see the sentence that “ Congratulations! The input related to the application for status of residence has been completed” on the upper side of the screen and the color of the “Submit” button will be changed into the light blue.
Tap the "Submit" button to submit your data to the school.
After tapping the [Submit] button.
School staff may ask you to mail original documents and certifications to the school.
Please follow the instructions of the staff.
By preparing the necessary documents in advance, you can apply easier.
